Experienced Talent Recruitment Event Set for April 30 in Flemington

The Greater Raritan One-Stop is hosting an Experienced Talent Recruitment Event from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, April 30, in the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce Center for Business & Entrepreneurship, 119 Main St. Flemington.
This career fair, presented by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board (GRWDB), will focus on employers with full- and part-time hiring opportunities for experienced workers, 55 years and older. While this event is the latest in the quarterly series of recruitment events hosted by the partners, it is open to all job seekers.
Employers will be available for informational discussions and more. In addition, resources tables will feature information on programs and services available in Hunterdon County.
The list of participating employers as of April 10 includes Anita’s Angels, Aunt Mary’s Dispensary, Bon Venture Services, BrightStar Care of Hunterdon, Chick-fil-A of Flemington, Hunterdon County government, Hunterdon County Educational Services Commission, Krapf School Bus, Right at Home, ShopRite of Hunterdon County, The Arc of Hunterdon County, UNICOM Science and Technology Park, Winnewald Day Camp and Woolverton Inn.
Registration is strongly encouraged; those who pre-register may be considered for pre-scheduled on-site interviews being conducted by some of the participating employers. The registration form includes the updated list of employers with available job titles, and instructions for resume sharing to be considered for the on-site interviews will accompany registration confirmation. Walk-ins are welcome but on-site interviews may not be possible.

To help prepare for the event, attendees are invited to Future Forward at Every Age, a virtual workshop, running from 11 a.m.to 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 22.
The event, hosted by the GRWDB, will be presented by Anthony Sharp Jr., a Workforce Development Professional, national Workshop Leader, and Certified Digital Career Strategist.
Whether you’re re-entering the workforce, changing careers, or navigating a transition, this interactive workshop is designed to help participants leverage their experience, sharpen their professional message, and use modern tools to move forward with confidence.
