- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. WakeFern Food Corp. In-Person Job Fairs at Participating Stores
Wakefern Food Corp. is ramping up hiring efforts at its supermarkets across the Northeast.
The company has scheduled walk-up job fairs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 25. During the event, interested candidates can visit most participating ShopRite, Price Rite Marketplace, The Fresh Grocer, Gourmet Garage or Fairway Market stores for an on-the-spot interview.
The Keasbey-based retailer-owned grocery cooperative announced the job fair in an April 16 press release. Wakefern said full-time, part-time and management positions are available, depending on the location. No advance registration is required. Openings include general clerks, front-end associates, stocking staff and grocery department team members.
The co-op’s footprint spans New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Rhode Island.
All roles offer competitive benefits, according to Wakefern. Most positions include on-the-job training, flexible scheduling and access to a unique game-based learning platform designed to help associates build skills and advance their careers.
