Career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board focus on meeting customers from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties where they are.
- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at 8 Bartles Corner Road in Flemington is open for walk-in services with state and county partners 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Wednesday, and by appointment on Thursday and Friday, as well as phone and virtual services, excluding county holidays. Call 908-704-3000 or use this form to schedule an appointment.
- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Employer Invitation for Phillipsburg Job Fair Layoff Aversion Hiring Event
Employers around the region are invited to participate in an upcoming Layoff Aversion Job Fair, hosted by the Workforce Development Board of Northwest New Jersey and the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development.
This hiring event will start at 9 a.m. Monday, June 1, at 39 Strykers Road, Phillipsburg.
A recent workforce reduction in the board’s region covering Morris, Sussex and Warren counties has created a pool of skilled, job‑ready candidates with experience in operations, logistics, distribution, shipping/receiving, warehouse roles, forklift operations, and more, and who can step into new roles immediately.
