- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at Bartles Corner Road in Flemington closed on June 22 and will open at a new nearby location in Flemington the week of August 17. Go to the Contact Us page for details.

In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. The business is seeking a skilled 3rd Shift Mechanic to keep production equipment running smoothly at our Old Bridge facility from Wednesday through Saturday nights. The incumbent will diagnose issues, perform repairs, weld fabrications, and conduct preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Compensation ranges from $21-27/hour with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, dental, vacation, holidays, and retirement.
Applicants must have a high school diploma/GED and at least three years of mechanical experience. The role requires the ability to work in extreme temperatures, operate forklifts, and complete various safety certifications. Strong diagnostic skills and welding capabilities are essential.
