Career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board focus on meeting customers from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties where they are.
- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at Bartles Corner Road in Flemington closed on June 22 and will open at a new nearby location in Flemington the week of August 17. Go to the Contact Us page for details.
- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. NJ Reentry Corp. Information Roundtable on H.R. 1
An Information Roundtable on H.R.1 will be hosted on Tuesday, July 21, from 9 to 11 a.m. at the New Jersey Reentry Corp. Training and Employment Center, 195 Campus Drive, Kearny.
This roundtable is intended for individuals who receive Medicaid or SNAP benefits, elected officials and their staff, community partners, legal and healthcare providers, faith-based organizations, veteran service providers, advocacy organizations, NJRC Ambassadors, and others who serve individuals and families who may be affected by H.R. 1.
The discussion will focus on:
- Medicaid and SNAP benefit updates
- New work, education, and community-engagement requirements
- Documentation needed to help protect benefits
- Practical steps elected officials, staff, providers, and community partners can take to support the individuals and families they serve.
