Career-related services offered by the partners of the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board focus on meeting customers from Hunterdon and Somerset Counties where they are.
- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center Employment Services office and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS) office at 75 Veterans Memorial Blvd. in Somerville are open for walk-in services 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding state holidays. - The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center at Bartles Corner Road in Flemington closed on June 22 and will open at a new nearby location in Flemington the week of August 17. Go to the Contact Us page for details.
- The Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Training Services Center on the second floor of 27 Warren St. in Somerville is open for walk-in services from 8:30 a.m.to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, excluding county holidays. Call 908-541-5780 or email onestop@co.somerset.nj.us.
In addition to in-person, all offices offer services through e-mail, phone and virtual platforms. A virtual orientation session for new customers of the Training Center is conducted at 10 a.m. Fridays, and virtual and in-person career-webinars on different topics are presented an ongoing basis by the Training Center and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board. Multi-Employer Entry-Level Recruitment Event in Somerville
Employers in Somerset and Hunterdon counties are hiring. Learn more at an in-person Multi-Employer Entry Level Recruitment Event presented by the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development and the Greater Raritan Workforce Development Board on Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The event will be conducted in the first-floor conference room of the Somerset County Human Services Building at 27 Warren St., Somerville.
This event is open to all job seekers, but is particularly focused on those with barriers to employment,
The employers scheduled to be in attendance are: Forged Solutions Group – Custom Alloy, Mascia Capital Group – Dunkin’ Donuts, Hackensack Meridian Health, Hitran Corp., Hudson Community Enterprises, Krapf School Bus, New Jersey Eastern Star Rehabilitation and Nursing, Restaurant Depot, Somerset County, Superior Court of New Jersey and the United States Postal Services.
Employers will be available for informational discussions, and some employers will be doing on-site interviews. To register, use the QR code in this flyer or go to https:://bit.ly/4wylreq. Registration is appreciated but not mandatory, unless a job seeker wants to be considered for an interview by some of the participating employers. Job seekers are asked to email resumes within 24 hours of registration; resumes will be accepted until July 16. The registration form includes an updated list of employers, and instructions for interview and resume sharing will accompany registration confirmation. Walk-ins are welcome.
