DESCRIPTION:Members of the community interested in learning more about Raritan Valley Community College’s Adult Learners’ College are invited to attend one of three special Information Sessions\, Tuesday\, March 12\, Tuesday\, March 26\, and Wednesday\, April 10\, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. each day. \nThe events\, which will include information about applying to RVCC\, support services designed for non-traditional students\, and paying for college and financial aid options\, will be held in the Event Center at the College’s Branchburg campus. \nVeterans are also encouraged to attend an Adult Learners’ College Information Session to learn more about how they can use their education benefits to attend RVCC. The Manager of International and Veteran Services will be on hand to answer any veterans’ questions about being an adult student at RVCC. \nRVCC’s Adult Learners’ College is designed for adults age 25 and older who are looking to complete their college degree\, explore a new career path\, gain additional training\, get a promotion at work\, be the first member of their family to attend college\, or improve their English. \nIn addition\, seven-week semesters will be offered for some programs\, providing adult students with a more convenient academic schedule to help them balance work\, school\, and family obligations.
