SUMMARY:Northern NJ Veterans Stand Down
DESCRIPTION:The City of Newark and Assemblywoman Cleopatra Tucker along with several local and state agencies are hosting a Northern New Jersey Veterans Stand Down event from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday\, October 12 at the JFK Recreation Center\, 211 W. Kinney St.\, Newark. \nServices include VA Healthcare\, public benefit\, non-profit services\, medical screening\, housing and homelessness resources\, mental health services\, legal assistance and more. Lunch will be provided for all attendees and transportation will be provided in selected locations.
