DESCRIPTION:Veterans\, their families\, and the public are invited to attend the Veterans Resource\, Job and Wellness Fair\, a free event sponsored by the Somerset County Board of County Commissioners. This event offers valuable resources and information about services\, health and wellness\, employment\, networking opportunities and more. County Commissioner Director Shanel Y. Robinson will present a brief keynote on “Transitioning From Military Service to Civilian Workforce.”  Pre-registration is requested. \nThe Veterans Fair takes place from 3 to 6 p.m.\, Thursday\, Oct. 10\, at the Senior Wellness Center at Bridgewater\, 876 E. Main St.\, Bridgewater\, NJ 08807. Following an opening ceremony and the presentation by Robinson\, attendees will be able to network with employers and agency representatives\, participate in health screenings\, and enjoy light refreshments. DESCRIPTION:A Cannabis Town Hall featuring panel discussions with industry leaders and local and state legislators\, a cannabis career fair\, and an expungement clinic will be presented from 12 to 4 p.m.\, Saturday\, June 22\, in the Event Center at Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) on Lamington Road in Branchburg. \nThis unique gathering combines an educational symposium with a job fair to shed light on the swiftly expanding cannabis landscape. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. and admission is free. The union represents workers from across New Jersey who work in the cannabis industry’s entire supply chain. \nVendor of cannabis-related enterprises will be part of a vendor hall set up in the RVCC Conference Center.
