DESCRIPTION:An Open House is being hosted on Wednesday\, May 13\, by the Eastern Atlantic States Carpenters Technical Centers\, Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters\, and Carpenter Contractor Trust at the Technical Center at 75 Fieldcrest Ave. in Edison. The event will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. \nHigh-school students\, adult cohorts\, and workforce development partners are invited to attend and watch the union carpenter apprentices compete in an all-day construction competition. \nThe day includes activities\, vendor booths\, food\, and the opportunity to learn more about joining the Carpenters Union as an apprentice. Attendees will see what workforce development looks like through the skilled union apprentices affiliated with the EASRCC\, employed by EAS Signatory Contractors. \nTo register\, go here.
