For more information\, contact amy@princetonmercer.org. \nPre-registration for job seekers is not required. The Job Fair is free and open to all job seekers. DESCRIPTION:Reel Works is partnering with IATSE Local 161 to launch an intensive 15-session training program this summer to prepare rising Production Accounting Professionals in New Jersey with the essential skills needed to transition successfully to work as a 2nd Assistant Accountants or Assistant Payroll Accountants in the entertainment industry. \nTo learn more about this opportunity\, interested individuals are required to attend a virtual Information Session being conducted at 7 p.m. Tuesday\, June 2. \nA 2nd Assistant Production Accountant supports the accounting department in maintaining financial records during film and television production\, including managing accounts payable. Assistant Payroll Accountant supports the payroll functions for film and television production\, ensuring pay is processed on time\, accurately\, and in compliance with regulations. \nAmong program requirements\, participants must be at least 21 years old\, be eligible to work in the U.S. and must be a New Jersey resident. \nThere is no fee for this program\, and each trainee is paid a stipend during the training.
