The event will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. \nHigh-school students\, adult cohorts\, and workforce development partners are invited to attend and watch the union carpenter apprentices compete in an all-day construction competition. \nThe day includes activities\, vendor booths\, food\, and the opportunity to learn more about joining the Carpenters Union as an apprentice. The 90-minute-long job seeker-focused workshops will be presented in two monthly series — one virtual\, through Zoom\, and one in-person (limited seating) at the One-Stop Career Center\, 75 Veterans Memorial Drive\, Somerville. \nThe partners in the Greater Raritan One-Stop Career Center have the expertise and knowledge to lead these workshops which are aimed at assisting job seekers in Hunterdon and Somerset Counties attain their career goals.
